BHU SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For Class IX (Boys)
Age: 13–15 years as on 31 March 2026
DOB range: Not before 31 March 2011 and not after 31 March 2013
Must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.
For Class XI
Maximum age: 18 years as on 31 March 2026
Must have passed Class X from a recognized board
Minimum 33% marks required (25% for SC/ST/Divyang).

How to Apply for BHU SET 2026
Follow these steps:
Visit the BHU Entrance Test portal (bhuonline.in)
Register with basic details
Fill the online application form
Upload photo, candidate signature, and parent signature
Pay the application fee
Download and save the confirmation page
The application is considered successful only after fee payment.
Admit Card Details
Admit card will be available online only
No postal dispatch will be done
Candidates must paste the same passport photo used in the form
Entry to exam hall is not allowed without admit card.
BHU SET 2026 Reservation Policy
Reservations are provided as per Government of India rules:
SC: 15%
ST: 7.5%
OBC-NCL: 27%
EWS: 10%
Divyang (OH): 3% horizontal reservation
Additionally, 50% seats are reserved for wards of BHU employees under specified conditions.

If two candidates score the same:
Class IX: Older candidate gets priority
Class XI: Merit based on Class X percentage
Further tie: subject-wise marks considered
Final tie: older candidate preferred.
