SSC CGL 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institute.

However, certain posts require specific qualifications:

  • Junior Statistical Officer: Candidates must have Mathematics in Class 12 with at least 60% marks or Statistics as a subject in graduation.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related subjects.
  • Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree required. Professional qualifications like CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), etc., are desirable.

Final-year students can also apply, provided they obtain the required qualification by 01 August 2026.
