The Sainik School Society (SSS) has entrusted NTA with the responsibility of organizing this national-level entrance examination.

Note: The fee is to be paid online using debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.


Mode and Pattern of Examination

  • Mode of Exam: Pen and Paper (OMR-based)

  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • Medium:

    • For Class VI: Available in 13 regional languages

    • For Class IX: English medium only

  • Duration:

    • Class VI – 150 minutes

    • Class IX – 180 minutes

How to Apply for AISSEE 2026

  1. Visit the official AISSEE website: https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.

  2. Read the Information Bulletin carefully before applying.

  3. Fill out the online application form between 10th October and 30th October 2025.

  4. Upload the required documents and pay the examination fee online.

  5. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.


Result and Admission Process

The results of AISSEE 2026 will be declared within 4–6 weeks after the examination. Candidates who qualify will be considered for admission based on merit and reservation criteria as specified by the Sainik School Society.
