UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed Class 10 (High School) from a recognized board.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age as on: 01 July 2025
- Age Relaxation: As per Uttar Pradesh Government rules (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.)
Nationality
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Should be a resident of the concerned district of Uttar Pradesh (as per rules).
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates:
- Height: 168 cm (General/OBC/SC)
- Height: 160 cm (ST)
- Chest: 79–84 cm (General/OBC/SC)
- Chest: 77–82 cm (ST)
For Female Candidates:
- Height: 152 cm (General/OBC/SC)
- Height: 147 cm (ST)
- Minimum Weight: 40 kg
Physical Efficiency Test
- Male: 4.8 km running
- Female: 2.4 km running.
UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The recruitment of UP Home Guards is carried out through multiple stages, beginning with a written examination and followed by physical tests, document verification, and a medical assessment.
- Written Exam: Candidates will appear for a written test consisting of 100 questions worth 100 marks. Only those who secure the required qualifying marks will move to the next stage.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Applicants who clear the written exam must undergo PMT and PET, where their physical standards and fitness levels are evaluated.
- Document Verification: After qualifying in the physical tests, candidates must present their original documents for verification by the authorities.
- Medical Test: In the final stage, candidates will be medically examined. Only those who are found physically and medically fit will be considered for appointment as UP Home Guards.
