The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially extended the validity of the UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) 2025 score from 1 year to 3 years. This decision brings great relief and added flexibility to lakhs of aspirants preparing for Group B and Group C government jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
What is UPSSSC PET?
UPSSSC conducts the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) as a qualifying exam for various Group B and Group C posts. Candidates must qualify PET before appearing in the Main examination of specific recruitments such as: Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, Village Development Officer (VDO), Forest Guard, Clerk and many others.
New Validity Rule for UPSSSC PET 2025
As per the latest update by the commission:

This new rule applies from UPSSSC PET 2025 onwards. That means, candidates qualifying PET in 2025 will be eligible to apply for main exams and recruitments up to 2028.
