Eligibility Criteria for JNVST 2026

1. Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must be studying in Class 5 during the academic session 2025–26.
  • The school must be recognized by the government or any other recognized education board.

2. Age Limit

  • The candidate should be born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016 (inclusive).
  • This applies to all categories including General, OBC, SC, and ST.

3. Residency

  • The student must reside in the district where the JNV is located and should apply for admission in the same district.

4. Attempts

  • Only one application per candidate is allowed.
  • Students who have previously appeared for the test are not eligible.
